In addition to the plates and trophy's or gift certificates above, there were also awards handed out to the top overall points leader for each age group. These riders also received a huge gear bag from Alberta BMX. The following Red Deer riders were ranked the top overall points leaders for their age groups in all of Alberta.

Now for the Provincial Championship (Sunday September 9th) results. The provincial Championships were raced by age only with no qualifier needed. All riders raced with everyone their own age (novice, intermediate and expert) and it proved to be a very tiring day for some as there were quite a few age groups that had semis. Only the top 8 riders from each age group received AB plates.
