Indoor Track Information

For those interested in continuing with BMX for the remainder of 2012, here is information on the hours, operations, fees, and other details to riding the Olds indoor track!

The Alberta Indoor Cycling Center is officially open for the 2012/2013 season. Similar to last season, the 750' BMX track will be open most weekends throughout the winter hosting Open Track sessions, District-level racing, and various coaching/learn to ride clinics.

Open Track Days
All open track days will be scheduled from 11:00am to 4:00pm. All riders must have at minimum a valid 2012 Alberta Bicycle Association General Membership or CCA/UCI license to ride.

AICC District Racing
All District Racing days at the AICC will follow the below schedule:
- Open track: 11:00am – 1:30pm
- Registration: 12:30pm – 1:30pm
- Racing: 2:00pm – 4:00pm

Additional Programs
In addition to Open Track days and District Racing, there will also be several coaching programs offered at the AICC throughout the 2012/2013 Seasons. These programs include:

Prices/Additional Information
All riders who are a member of an Alberta Bicycle Association affiliated BMX Club may ride the track free of charge. This includes Open Track days as well as District Races.

* All riders who are not members of an Alberta Bicycle Association affiliated BMX club will be subject to the following fees:
- $200 flat rate per family for the duration of the winter season, or;
- $125/rider for the duration of the winter season, or;
- $20/rider per weekend

Please note that any district points earned during 2012 AICC District Races will count towards a rider’s final 2012 points tally. 2013 schedule will be posted at a later date.
